MEDIUM: Watercolor paintings and graphite drawings


Wesley Dallas Merritt, specializing in watercolor paintings and detailed graphite drawings, grew up on a farm in central Indiana. He exhibited a talent and interest for drawing as a young child. In pursuit of his passion, he studied art at the Joe Kubert School of Art in Dover, New Jersey. After working several years as a concept artist he has developed an affinity for watercolor and has devoted himself to painting.

Specializing in contemporary realism paintings that show true emotion and beauty of the human figure.  A fine line of light and shadow characterizes his crisply detailed subjects.  Today his work has gained recognition in regional and national exhibitions and can be found in many private collections around the world.

Wesley works out of his studio in Sheridan Indiana.  He accepts commissions and would welcome the opportunity to paint subject(s) of your choice.
