Art, design and architecture have always played important roles in my life. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep curiosity in my surroundings and a conscious appreciation for beauty. Whether it was the exterior of a building, an interior room with it’s streaming light and open spaces or nature with all of it’s patterns, textures and colors, I have always been an interested observer.

In 1994 Sandi received a B.F.A degree from Herron School of Art and Design with a major in furniture design and woodworking.  In the years since college, she’s had a variety of experiences, such as working as an architectural model builder for a large casino builder in Las Vegas, working in retail management for a specialty woodworking company, being one of the founding members of the Women’s Woodworking Guild of Indiana, freelancing as an editor for a women’s woodworking magazine to writing and publishing a book of original furniture designs.

Currently, Sandi is married and lives in Indianapolis near Broad Ripple where she has a small studio at home and is continually producing new work. She sells digitally created art giclee prints from her Etsy shop, 9HouseDesign, and is signed with a licensing company where a number of her images have been licensed to online art retailers.
